HEALING PRAYER

Mark 11:23
Heavenly Father, I trust in Your promises and Your word that You are my healer. You have taken away all my infirmities. You have borne my sicknesses. You have carried my afflictions. By Your stripes, I’m healed. I humbly ask to see the manifestation of Your promises and Your word. I ask for Your help and pray for complete restoration of my body, my organs, my cells, and my immune system. As Moses was at 120 years of age, let me be that right now. When he died, his eyes were not dim, nor was his natural vigor diminished.

I believe that Your power is greater than anything that can come up against me, and You always have the final say. You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

With the power of Jesus’s blood, I reject sickness in my body and put You at the forefront of it all. I declare that You have brought me health and healing and that I will enjoy my life more abundantly, as Jesus came to give us.

By faith, I’m free from all sickness, disease, and pain for the rest of my life. Sickness and disease must flee from me. In Jesus’s name I rebuke the power that sickness has held over me and command this mountain to be removed from here and cast into the sea, and never-ever return.

Thank You Heavenly Father, for Your healing power over my spirit, soul, and body. These and all blessings I ask and pray in Jesus’s mighty name, Amen. 🙏

Mark 11:23 (NKJV) For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

GREAT DAY OF GOD'S WRATH

A couple of years ago, I was praying many prayers about something in the news. Day after day I kept getting angrier and angrier at the wickedness of the situation. Finally, I was laying in bed one night and I heard a thunderstorm in the far distance, getting closer and closer. It finally came and stood over our house. That thunder was the loudest I have ever heard. It roared! It clapped! It blasted! I said calmly to myself, “Well, I don’t have to be angry about this anymore, because now, God is mad.” I turned over and went to sleep. The thunder didn’t make me afraid, it put me to sleep.

When the great day of His wrath is come, who will be able to stand? (Rev. 6:17)

The Lord allowed that thunderstorm to show me the effectiveness of my prayers. The thunder came from way out in the distance, straight to me and hovered over me. That’s what happens when we pray, we move God in that same way.

James 5:16 The effective, fervent prayers of the righteous avails much.

JUDGING VERSUS KNOWING

What does it mean

that you will know them

by their fruit?

Jesus said in Matthew 7, "Judge not, that you be not judged." Someone recently accused me of judging them because I called them out, based on their fruit I saw on display.

I asked the Lord, "What's the difference in judging someone, and knowing them because I see their fruit? Am I judging when I see fruit and respond to what I see?"

In my opinion, we can't always know someone else’s heart, but we can make wise assessments about them by observing the regular fruit they produce in their lives (in other words... behavior). If you keep catching someone in a lie over and over, that person's fruit reveals they're a liar.

Make no mistake, we all stumble from time to time, and may go through seasons of bearing little fruit.

1 John 1:8 (NKJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

True children of God have been transformed, and the fruit of our lives is the evidence of that transformation. Apple trees don’t produce bananas, and strawberry plants don’t produce figs. This fact of nature is also true in the spiritual realm. We can identify those whose hearts have been redeemed, by the fruit we see on their branches.

So what did Jesus mean when He said, "Judge not, that you be not judged"? Glad you asked!😉

Jesus is saying here that we should not judge the inner motives of another person's heart. They may do things differently than you, but it may be for reasons you won't understand. The mouth does, however, reveal what's in the heart. So if they reveal it, then believe it.

In First Corinthians 5, the apostle Paul told the church of Corinth to judge those who were being sexually immoral in their assembly, and not to keep company with them. If the fruit is plain to see, that's not judging, that's awareness... but don't judge what you don't know.

In conclusion, if we spend all our time judging others' faults, behavior, and sin - and not deal concretely with our own, Jesus called that hypocrisy. (Matthew 7:1-5)

CLEANING UP MY THOUGHTS

I have been seeking the Lord about how to overcome the battlefield of my mind... so impure thoughts that keep bumping up against me can be cast down.

Here's the prayer He gave me:

"I cast down any and every impure thought that exalts itself against what I know about the Lord, and exchange those thoughts for virtue and godliness. Let the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus rescue me each time I face temptation, and set me free from evil."

I'm going to memorize this so I can quote it when I'm bombarded with ungodly thoughts.

Also, what Jesus did when tempted by the devil, was quote the word of God.

Matthew 4:4 (NKJV) But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.' "

Go in peace.

MARCHING WITH THE ANGELS

Some years back, I was coming off a lengthy fast and sitting in the living room listening to a song called Break Every Chain by Tasha Cobbs Leonard. I saw a vision of a band of angels marching down our street, coming toward our house. I stood up and started marching with them. This was God’s army sent to answer my prayers.

Never let the enemy have you believe your prayers don’t matter, because they do. Sincere prayers move the heart of God. Let the church say Amen.

VERSE OF THE DAY

Christ Jesus -- The True Vine

John 15:1-8 (NKJV)

[1] "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. [2] Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. [3] You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. [4] Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me."

[5] "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. [6] If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. [7] If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. [8] By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples."

VERSE OF THE DAY

Psalm 16:11 (NKJV) You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

IN HIS PRESENCE

Long, long past midnight, the neighbors shot guns and fireworks in celebration of Independence Day. I woke up at almost 4:00 this morning feeling like I just needed to go to the throne of grace and sit with my Jesus. I said that to Him... that I would not speak, but I just needed to be in His presence. I wasn't planning to pray, but to lay in bed while I go spiritually to the throne room and sit down next to Jesus.

My husband had the covers all screwed up, so laying quietly in bed was crossed out, and I went to the Living Room instead. I picked up my tablet to put on some soft background music and saw I had new emails. I opened the app and saw this from Pastor Steven Furtick, "If you're feeling tired and weary, take a moment and pause. Just sit with Jesus a while."  #notacoincidence
