Your Life Is Valuable

Barbara Walters asked Monica Lewinsky, "Why do you have affairs with married men?" Apparently, President Clinton was not her only one. She replied, "Clearly, I didn't have enough self-worth so that I didn't feel I was worthy of being number one to a man."

That statement got me to thinking about the idea of self-worth and the way we see ourselves, especially as children of the King. We must learn to see ourselves in light of how God sees us, as valuable enough to lay down His life for.

The Scriptures state that we are bought with a price ~ and a great price it was, which makes us of inestimable value to Christ. Because He loved us, we now have infinite worth.

Don't settle for second class citizenship. We are children of the King.
