I am constantly thinking about my intent for wanting to do ministry work. Is it to really help people, or merely an opportunity to do what I love? I think perhaps, its some of both.
I do care about the people that come in contact with my stuff and even more about the ones that return regularly. I believe my heart is sincere (but the heart can be most deceiving). I know my Lord knows the real truth. Am I doing this for His sheep, or am I doing this for myself?
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends You, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. (Psalm 139:23-24 NLT)
