After Paul's conversion from a Pharisee to an Apostle, he went to Arabia and spent three years there. Paul may have had a sister that he lived with while he was there. This time was spent in contemplation and study, allowing him to develop his understanding of the Christian faith and his role as an Apostle. This secluded time was crucial for Paul's development, and refinement in understanding the gospel to prepare him for future ministry. He ended up writing a significant portion of the New Testament.
Sometimes we may question why God has us in a certain place with no seeming way out. He is developing something in you that may even outlast your time on earth. Just be still and know that He is God.
