Jesus and Mack |
For in Christ there is all of God in a human body (Col. 2:9). Jesus is God manifested in human flesh.
John 1:1, 14 (NKJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh (Jesus) and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Jesus went on to tell Mack that He wants everyone to have a relationship with the Heavenly Father. That’s His purpose, to point us to the Father, who’s drawing us to Himself.
Jesus endured the cross, despising the shame, so we could be seated together with Him in heavenly places. Then He sent Holy Spirit to dwell in us, and become a part of us so that we may have an up close and personal relationship with the Godhead.
If God wanted to have close relations with mankind, Jesus was the best way to accomplish that.
If you haven't seen The Shack, I highly recommend it.
To God be the glory.
