| EVERYTHING! |
Thank You for Your
daily care… for seeing us through the everyday ordinary stuff. We are thankful
for Your presence, even while we go about our daily lives. I know that You are
concerned about all the things that concern me (the big things and the small ones)… how to style my hair today, when
it’s time to mop the floors, what we should eat for dinner, how to handle financial
obligations, or that nagging pain that won’t go away. There is nothing beyond
Your reach. Not one sparrow falls to the ground apart from Your will, and even
the very hairs on our heads are all numbered, including the ones that came out
in the comb and brush. Nothing I face in life is too insignificant for You. You care about all of it.
Our lives on this earth are but a vapor that appears for
a little while and then vanishes away. Help us to appreciate our everyday walk
with You by our side. As we look forward to life eternal in Your holy city, let
us not take for granted the small things You do for us down here while we’re on
our way up there. These and all blessings I ask and pray in the name of Christ
Jesus. Amen.
